El Foro Regional en Mocoa que estaba programado para el 31 de marzo y 1 de abril de 2008, fue movido para el 8 y 9 de abril de 2008 y se realizará en el mismo lugar, es decir en el auditorio de Corpoamazonia en Mocoa.El motivo por el cual tuvo que moverse el evento está relacionado con la imposibilidad de asistencia por parte de la institucionalidad y algunas organizaciones sociales, las cuales por cruce de agenda no pueden asistir para la fecha que se informó inicialmente.
Por otra parte, se mejorarían los resultados del evento para el 8 y 9 de abril de 2008, por cuanto se llevarán los resultados de la Evaluación Ambiental Regional (EAR) de la vía Pasto - Mocoa, los cuales serán presentados por el consorcio colombo - español que hizo el estudio el 28 de marzo en Confamiliar Mocoa desde las 8 de la mañana.
Estos resultados se constituyen en el fundamento para plantear acciones a incluirse en los planes de desarrollo, por cuanto esta Evaluación determinará los efectos que tendrá la vía y sobre los cuales se soporta la formulación del Plan de Acción para el resarcimiento, mitigación y compensación a los impactos y efectos causados a la región y sus habitantes por efecto de la construcción y operación de este megaproyecto vial, elaborado por el mismo consorcio.
